More than 14 years of experience in providing psychological services.
Her background includes practice in clinical and counselling psychology (psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment) with children and their families at Surrey Place Centre, Motherisk Program at the Hospital for Sick Children, and Toronto District School Board.
In addition to her extensive experience in providing assessments and diagnosis of learning disabilities, language disorders, ADHD, and other childhood disorders, Yana’s unique experience and specialization is in early assessment of developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. She also offers parenting consultations and individual therapy for children. Her approach draws upon a combination of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
Yana’s practicing languages are English, Hebrew, and Russian.
